About me
While we have lots of great times to jump into together, I thought it was only fitting to share a little about myself first! I am a NC native, having lived most of my life in this wonderful state. My family has lived all over NC, from the OBX to the mountains. We then had a three year stint in Colorado before ultimately landing, happily, in Wilmington in the fall of 2020!
I have been married to my college sweetheart since July 2010. We have three kiddos; an almost 8 year old boy, an almost 6 year old boy and a just turned three year old little lady (as of this writing in December 2020). When I became a mom, it took over my life in many obvious ways but also became a part of my identity. I had to remember that being "mom" is not all there is to me - I love spending time outdoors exploring nature, being creative, reading, any foot rubs my kids will give me, chocolate (mmmm, right?) and being a PLANT lover! Another thing I am passionate about is building community and that's why when I discovered there was an opening for Macaroni Kid Wilmington, I knew I needed to be the next publisher for our area! And now I could not be more excited to be able to share the insights I find about how to enjoy this lovely town with you!
Speaking of you, I could go on and on about me but I want to get to know more about you and hear from you. Each of you will make this Macaroni Kid community that much better.
